Waiver, Release, and Indemnification Agreement  

In consideration of my participation in the Pulling Together Fire Truck Pull (“the Event”), I acknowledge and agree to the following:  

Assumption of Risk & Responsibility 

  • I understand the nature of the Event and confirm that I am physically fit, in good health, and capable of participating.  

  • I acknowledge that if at any time I believe conditions to be unsafe, I will immediately discontinue my participation.  

  • I fully understand that this Event involves risks of serious injury, including but not limited to permanent disability, paralysis, or death, which may result from:  

    • My own actions or inactions,  

    • The actions, inactions, or negligence of others,  

    • The conditions in which the Event takes place, or  

    • The negligence of the "Releases" listed below.  

    • I accept full responsibility for any injuries, losses, costs, or damages I may experience as a result of my participation.  

Waiver & Release of Liability 

I hereby release, waive, and discharge the following entities and individuals from any and all liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages arising from my participation in the Event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise:  

  • Greater Napanee Connect

  • Greater Napanee Fire Services 

  • Event organizers  

  • The Town of Greater Napanee

  • All administrators, directors, agents, officers, volunteers, employees, participants, sponsors, advertisers, property owners, and lessors of the event premises  


I further agree that if I, or anyone on my behalf, make a claim against any of the Releases, I will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless each Release from any resulting loss, liability, damage, or costs incurred as a result of such claim.  

Acknowledgment & Agreement

I have read and understand this Waiver, Release, and Indemnification Agreement. I acknowledge that:  

✔ I am voluntarily waiving substantial legal rights by signing this document.  

✔ I am signing freely and without coercion.  

✔ This release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law. If any part of this agreement is found to be legally invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
